Taco War
The first edition of the Taco War is a gastronomic initiative in a family-friendly atmosphere with authentic cumbia music.
Sidral Mundet invites us to the Taco War on Saturday, December 2nd, at Supremo. All you have to do is bring 3 bottle caps to attend.
Tacos are the best food in the world. Besides being Mexicans’ favorite food, which can be enjoyed on any occasion, there are unlimited options throughout the country. Despite their apparent simplicity, their taste is supreme. Besides, there’s no need for utensils, and you can find them anywhere.
What could be better than this being accompanied by an authentic gastronomic battle, a Taco War? This is an initiative that Sidral Mundet will carry out in December, with the purpose of promoting local Mexican gastronomy.
This Taco War is a gathering with some of the most outstanding taquerias in Mexico City that will delight taco lovers with their specialties. You can be part of the first edition of the Taco War.
The competition will be divided into 2 categories: The best taco and The best salsa. The winning taqueria in each category will be announced before the event ends, and the voting will be conducted by expert personalities in the art of tacos and Mexican gastronomy.
And to make this gastronomic experience richer, as good Mexican gatherings tend to be, this event will be set to the tune of the best cumbia music by Papi Pérez. To entertain between tacos, there will be 3 Fair Games available where you can win souvenirs to take home as a memory. The participating taquerias in the Taco War are:

This is a 100% family event, and anyone who loves tacos can attend. You’ll have the chance to mingle with famous personalities like Chef Herrera, Lalo Villar, Taquerosky, and more. Entry will begin at 1:00 p.m., and to enter, it’s necessary to exchange 3 Sidral Mundet bottle caps of any flavor or presentation.
For the 3 bottle caps or caps, besides providing each attendee’s entry pass, they will be exchanged for 3 tickets to try 3 tacos for free from any of the participating taquerias.
