Coffee and Chocolate Festival

There will be a Coffee and Chocolate Festival in the Historic Center. It will be Christmas-themed!
The Coffee and Chocolate Fest is just around the corner and unlike its previous editions, this one will have a Christmas theme. Take note. The event will take place on the upcoming days of December 2nd and 3rd at the Palacio de Autonomía of UNAM, starting from 11 am until 8 pm.

What will you find at the Coffee and Chocolate Festival 2023?

There will be a wide variety of products from over 60 exhibitors, including high-percentage cocoa chocolate and coffee from producers in Chiapas, Veracruz, Tabasco, Oaxaca, Puebla, Tlaxcala, and the State of Mexico. You’ll be able to purchase anything from ground coffee to whole beans with different roasts. Pure quality!

If you’re a chocolate lover —who isn’t?— you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy an extensive selection, including tablets for making chocolate with milk or water, bars with chipotle, sesame, cranberries, taro, grasshoppers, and maguey worms, as well as truffles and filled chocolates. In terms of flavors, there will be combinations such as rosemary and green tea, orange with whiskey, red fruits, blue cheese, passion fruit, and raspberry with cheese.

As mentioned earlier, the event will have a Christmas theme and will also bring special attractions, such as decorated cookies. We suggest getting a few to bring something more than just socks to the family dinner.

In addition to the food, the Coffee and Chocolate Festival will feature a great program of cultural activities. There will be live music, tastings, sensory workshops, literary chocolate events, conferences on the importance of cocoa in history, and coffee ceremonies. All of these activities are free. However, we recommend arriving early and registering in advance as space is limited.

Another strong point is that a percentage of the sales will be allocated to the UNAM Foundation scholarship program.
