To be eligible for the competition, participants must ensure that their alebrijes measure a minimum of 2 meters in height, 1.80 meters in width, and 1.80 meters in length. Those who join the competition must attend the mandatory work meetings at MAP, scheduled for July 19, September 6, and October 4. In return for their dedication, participants have a chance to win a reward of $10,000 pesos, while the top three entries will receive even greater prizes:

2. Second Place: $40,000
3. Third Place: $30,000
